“A few well-designed movements, properly performed in a balanced sequence, are worth hours of doing sloppy calisthenics or forced contortion.”

– Joe Pilates

Who is it for?

In the heart of Pilates instruction sits exercise modifications to fit each individual’s level and need, making the workout safe and challenging for virtually anyone.

So the question is rather, what do you want to achieve through Pilates?

Professional dancers knew about the benefits of Pilates for almost a century.  Top athletes of all sports turn to Pilates for balance, flexibility, and injury prevention.  Hollywood stars and supermodels use it to maintain their beautiful physiques.  Many hospitals and Physical therapy clinics incorporate Pilates in rehab programs for chronic low back pain management and for shoulder injuries, to name a few.

What is Pilates?

More than a buzz word that’s seen its hay day, Pilates is a method of physical exercise designed by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 20th century to stretch, strengthen, detoxify, and notably to keep your spine healthy and flexible, which Pilates believed defined one’s true age regardless of how many birthdays one has had.
